I'm trying to get better at drawing human anatomy. So I thought it might be fun to try out eyes first. I'm actually pretty happy with it-- it came out much better than I thought it would, to be honest. Still stuff I need to work on, though.
Not sure if it's noticeable, but the eyes reference I used was Jensen Ackles. He plays Dean Winchester on Supernatural; I'm still very into that right now. XD
I got bored, so I colored in his eyes. I swear, he has some really pretty eyes… I'm kinda jealous. For those who want it, here's the version with just black and white: fav.me/d7lh9yi
Once again you impress with how quickly you've gotten so good with shading I also really like the little color you added in the eyes, it's a nice touch. I really don't see anything I could give concrit on at this point of the drawing. You should continue and draw the rest of the face too Keep practicing though, of course, you can always get better and it'll get easier for you.
Yay! Haha, that makes me wanna do a happy dance. I really appreciate your honesty when you concrit my work, so it means a lot when you say you don't have any glaring errors to point out
I'm really glad the color and the shading worked out, too-- I'm always working on those two, so I thought it'd be fun to refine them while focusing on the eye anatomy. I'm actually really happy with how it turned out.
Hmm, you really think so? Drawn2pencils said the same thing-- to be honest, I've thought about finishing the rest of the face, but I'm a little worried I'll mess it up, especially when I like how the eyes turned out so much I'll definitely think about it, though!
And of course! I love practicing Thank you for the kind words.
Now I have to know your secret, once you stood back took a look and saw how awesome this was just how did you STOP? I mean come on now your going to tell me you were scared or something like that and expect me to see this and believe a line like that, NO WAY!
Just so you're sure of what I'm saying here, this is FANFRIGGINTASTIC.
Thank you so much! Haha, well, actually-- yes. I stopped at the eyes for two reasons-- one, because I had started out drawing the eyes with the intent of just practicing eye anatomy, and two, because I was afraid of screwing it up. I figured the eyes turned out so well, that if I couldn't get the rest of the nose and the lips and the ears and such just right that it would ruin the whole drawing
Haha, thank you, again! Wow, that is very high praise; I'm honestly extremely flattered. Thank you!
